Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) ( http://schiff.house.gov ) outlines a "Plan A" -- the status quo -- and the enormous costs of the consequences of inaction and, facing stiff and vocal opposition from about half the crowd, praises the benefits of a public option. (This is one in a series of videos by Doug Drenkow ( http://douglasdrenkow.com ) for http://OpEdNews.com from the Rep. Schiff town hall meeting, in Alhambra, CA, Aug. 11, 2009)
No worries. According to fredericksburg [dot] com [slash] News ... Chronic Wasting Disease is "not transmissable" to humans (although you shouldn't get near any ill animals). To my knowledge, veterinary costs are not covered by the bill. Human beings have a right to be healthy; it's in the nation's self-interest as well.
