The worst predatory human elements that are kept in check right now by the police will become bolder and a lot more violent in a period of chaos there will be no business as usual or the relatively safe life you see now because that will be all gone when the police are not paid enough to feed themselves. The mafia and biker gangs come to mind. Rebel armies formed from remnants of the armed forces also come to mind.

Great video. Nuclear energy is too dangerous, though. We can manage with alternative renewable energy sources alone if we do it the right way. If we, like you said, live locally. This is a very creative video.

Never thought I would live to see such pandamonium unfold. I guess I might die seeing it as well. I think alot of young people are just so used to the peace and ease of american civilian life that their minds wont lend them even consider the end of that way of living. Alot of us are going to be like domesticated canines in the forest on this one. I have very few resources to prepare and my family is taking no heed so far. So I imagine we are doomed. Im trying to cherish every moment as of late.

Oya, I know the feeling. As times get worse maybe ppl will get desperate enough to seek out alternative non-dependent ways of surviving - although I'm not so sure that'll work in highly populated dependent parts of the world like Japan. I'm gonna look around - see if I can find info on engineered plants or crop clusters that could provide maximized nutritional needs in most efficient way possible. Local farmer's markets are already becoming more popular. Not sure how big-city thing'll work yet.
