Why all the haze, why is she on her knees the whole scene, and Thuy looks like he's from Michigan USA? Misguided re-direction of Nick Hytner's epic direction. Yikes Jesus Cristos... get a clue people!

Amazing vocals!
I understand why they cast this Thuy (he's really good), but why didn't they even TRY to make him look Asian? It distracts from an otherwise good performance.
Also, I think Tam is about 6 or 7 here .. not 12.
