Got a chance to get the G19 out again. Each time, I think I get a little better with it. Still not as accurate as my 1911s, but maybe I'm just used to them. This is, afterall, my first Glock. I do like it, and I'm gonna stick with it until I can get it shooting how I want. It does feel good in the hand, very ergonomic for myself, and recoil is manageable with the dual spring recoil setup.
Get a little on paper, and I noted the types of ammo that were being used as well for my first three five shot groups. Not as nice as I'd like them to be, but the more trigger time and dry firing I do with it, the smoother it feels. I think I will work up to it, and get those shots all touching, or a tighter group than that anyways!
@NOLA556 That's the first FTE I have had with it. I was quite surprised, but it functioned perfectly otherwise. I have put more than 500 rds through it anyways, probably a little bit more. But each time I shoot it, I do like it a little bit more.

are those Gen4's as unreliable as all the internet stories lead on? I saw you had a FTE. only Glock I have is an RTF2 from a few years ago and it hasn't malfunctioned a single time in several thousand rounds. I want to be excited about Gen4 but I'm nervous about spending the money on one if they don't live up to Glock's reputation.
