You really do need to research the abuse CPS subjects families to!

I nearly ended up hospitalized for my osteoarthritis for having been forced, for no good reason, to carry all my work books and papers from my dining room (where we were hardly "entertaining" at the time!) to my basement. They are like rabid dogs once they insinuate themselves into a family's lives and try to take over. I was finally able to get our County Board of Supervisors to call them off, but someone less educated (I have a PhD) might not have been able to figure out how to do this.

for having plants (from my husband's funeral) in our kitchen window, for having crafts materials for making Christmas presents stored in our attic, for having boxes of books in my dining room because I gave up my office at work to work at home and be with my kids more, for what the CPS worker considered "kitsch" in my home, for having adopted pets ("therapy" for my kids) even AFTER I presented them with a clean bill of health for my home from a voluntary inspection by the County Health Dept.

CPS is completely out of control in this country! I had my custody of my daughter threatened by CPS, after my husband committed suicide, for idiocies like not having unpacked all our belongings yet, after I had to singlehandedly move our household when my son refused to return to his private school (the public school where we lived was awful), (cont'd in next thread)

The thing they wont tell you is they are more likely to be abused in CPS custody in the foster homes then in the biological parents home.
