Any Engineer that is afraid of a spy or considers the spy as the best class to take down sentries is a new player obviously.Spies are annoying.Demomen are SCARY.Everytime I see a Demoman as Engineer I shit myself.Spies are free kills compared to Demos and Soldiers.

@SuperAwesomeTiago I never said that engies and pyros are overpowered, I simply said that the odds are for the engineer.

And at that, being annoying is a speciality for the spy, pissed off people tend to focus less on the objective and try to find the spy that is pissing them off, rather than try to cap the point.

Spy is one of the most annoying shits in video games ever.Not character-wise,gameplay-wise.S­pies are almost as annyoing as scouts.

@SuperAwesomeTiago I hope you're not saying this because you think spies are an awful class, I think it's just because the odds are against the spy.

Think about it. If the spy attacks without sapping first he dies within a few seconds.

Engineer attacks and nothing really happens. All the spy can do is sap the sentry but the engineer can fix it in 2 wrench swings. It's simply not fair to the spy.

@SuperAwesomeTiago I know. Spies have a hard time backstabbing me, cause I'm always checking. If a soldier comes by, I usually begin for a constant repair of my sentry.

The most important thing to actually face this kind of situation is... well obviously TEAMWORK.

It's called 'Team' Fortress 2 for a reason, spies, demoman, soldiers, pyros, medics, none of them can handle this alone, let's face it.

@LagXFLCL Duuude you know that crits don't really make a change to sentries. But still maybe you could kill the engies faster. But I would actually prefer 2 normal ubers deployed consecutively.

@SuperAwesomeTiago Right on, a nice wrench to the skull and they wont be back for a while, demomen and soldiers can sidestep and destroy your sentry very quickly.
