This is one of the top ten films ever made. It speaks directly to the human heart with all of it's deepest longings and shortcomings. I highly recommend, "The Best Years of Our Lives" to all.

According to Robert Osborne, host of Turner Classic Movies this film is considered by many critics to be the finest movie ever made in any classification. I concur. It captures perfectly what many soldiers and sailors faced adjusting to life back home after the horrors of war. The inclusion of Harold Russell as the true life handicapped vet only adds to the clarity of that difficulty. A truly amazing movie on any level. One of my top 3 of all time. Dana Andrews and March are outstanding !!!!

Is Hollywood not capable of making a movie like this anymore. Are we too jaded, too dumbed down for real human drama? Perhaps its time for a remake of this classic, though i can't imagine better, perhaps it could be brought up to date to involve the audience of today- it seems the sacrifices by the soldiers today are kept quiet, or hidden for some political purpose.

Would like to see Hanks tackle this- I see Oscar performances and a poignant memorable story- one that should be told. again.

A beautifully-edited trailer, though the music is somewhat darker than the film's soundtrack. My Father served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. I'm a 61-year-old man, and am not ashamed to say that "The Best Years of Our Lives" brings tears to my eyes. Every Time.

Magnificent trailer. Being of the era, the acting is effective, the writing true to real life and the production appropriate for the plot. To those who have not seen this movie you need to do so.

You're right! It's one of the most beatiful and moving scenes in whole movie.

I like much that Wyler is so delicate and discreet in such emotional moments. It still makes impression.

Very excellent modern take of a trailer for an outstanding classic. One thing that has really improved over the years is the ability to summarize many feelings and thoughts of a picture that are recognized by a modern audience. Great upgrade.
