Almost fell off jumping 1.10 meters on Lewi 3ft6

haha just been told am to big for LEWI hahah i am 5ft6 and 7st10... ok if you say so...poor pony am just to big and FAT for the skinny WELSH COB!

What an amzing little pony i just love every part of him. 4 year old 14.1hh welsh cob gelding. FUTURE BSJA SHOWJUMPER
This is his 3rd jumping lesson this year and WAW hes doing so well. I am hoping to get him out in October when i come back from New York.

I have him in a happy mouth plastic gag with roundings. Its hard to say what hes like to ride with out you riding him. (YOU CANT HOLD THIS HORSE HE HAS TO HOLD HIM SELF, AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE TROT HE IS HAPPY TO DO SO WITH OUT MY HANDS ON HIS MOUTH)

He doesnt bolt from his mouth he bolts from his body...if that makes sense. I could pull as hard as i could but he would still go. This pony hates you holding his mouth and always pulls to make sure my hands go with him. You might think thats bad and it kinda is but he is and always will be STRONGER THAN ME. If you try to slow him down then he goes faster..its not the bit or his mouth its just Lewi.

OWNED HIM 1 YEAR AND 5 MOTHS AND I AM STILL WORKING HIM OUT AND LEARNING HOW TO RIDE SUCH A SENSITIVE HORSE LIKE HIM!!

We had a bigggg fail at the first 1.10 meter-3ft6 but we did try again and made it but MUM never got it grrr

No i wont take more of a hold on him because he goes crazy and runs runs at the jump

Defiantly more of a dressage horse than a jumper, with a trot like that.....but weldone looks like you two have such a great bond :) carry on with the good jumping!

Have you had his back checked, just his trot and the way he bunny hops in canter..........if you have not already had it checked out might be worth it. lovely horse tho!

you're defintely not to big for this pony!!! i'm 155cm tall and i ride 11hh horse for my friends sister. It depends on the build of the horse and this horse is strong!!!

Too small ahaha, a big sturdy strong horse like him would soon chuck you off if you was too big for him I'm sure. Anyways I'm 5'4 and 8stone and I ride my 13.2hh Newforest pony with no problem, he's a sturdy strong breed and would also throw me right off if I was bugging him. Some breed's and ponies need bigger riders to control them. If you was to stick a little kiddy on my little pony you may as well sign their death certificate because he would be bolting right round the ring with them.

I think a rider any smaller and that horse would be too much for them, he pops you right out of that saddle and knows just how too.
