  • umm, i think this is EndGame.......

  • it's nice to hear this great show being performed again, but the American version, which only ran for 3 months on broadway, is terrible. i know i will get hate mail for saying this. but the lyris were change without tim rices aproval along with the entire content of the show, this is why the american wins the match and not the russian as the original. the only good thing about the american version is Someone else story. but fab performances from the cast xx

  • English version?

  • ... this is weird. I swear in the recorded version he's not playing freddie and he wins the game .. interesting to hear a different version though :)

  • Also, google "mermaids and rainbow chess concert" and you'll get a blog with a bunch of downloadable cast recordings including the Original concept album and the OBC recording.

  • @berriesrbest You want the 2008 Royal Albert Hall concert with Groban, Pascal, Menzel and Ellis. Go to the torrentreactor website and run a search for "chess concert" and the album and video will come up.

  • Is the recording messed up? what I mean is that there are some lyrics before (like around 4:56) that Josh didnt sing.

  • I miss the chanting "USA USA" that was done in the Original Broadway recording.

  • To hear Chess the way it was intended, go and listen to the original cast album.
