Peggy Skating

Please comment. Skating is something that gives me such a sense of peace and joy. I may not be an Olympian, but that was never my goal. I've only landed a double jump once and that was on the harness. But the feeling of moving across the ice at high speed and staying graceful and then either flying into the air or spinning really fast is almost indescribable. It's like flying and dancing at the same time. When I'm not skating on a regular basis, I feel incomplete. It keeps me focused, gives me purpose and I get tons of exercise without even realizing it. Please comment on my skating or video even though I'm not Peggy Fleming. Thanks!

When I met my girlfriend, I was impressed to know that she'd been an ice skater for eleven years. In wanting to understand her interests, I hoped to get involved, but I settled for wheels instead of blades since there's no rink near me. You have really nice body control, and you appear, in words and demonstration, to really like what you do. Thanks for the upload, five stars.

@T09Bryant Thank you for the wonderful comment! I just got it because I haven't had internet access since December. Has your girlfriend ever taken you skating? On ice, I mean? It is truley wonderful. Roller blading can be pretty great too, if you stick with it. I really wish you joy in whatever kind of skating you do. Remember, "ice time"...(and good quality skates) equal skill. Take care.

well i'm not such a expert at skating (personally more about "butt on ice") but well i think you can actually skate (and teach). Ok you're not Peggy Fleming but you share undoubtably that elegance quality, almost "Qi Gong" on ice.

Wow, you are really graceful! You look like an angel. It reminds me of that time in Edward Scissorhands when (have you seen that movie? I love it) whatserface (the ginger kid - played by Winona Ryder)was in the snow twirling. She was graceful, but she, of course, wasn't on ice. She was in the snow.
