The original painting done by Joe Meek, this is the ONLY one also featured is track from 'I hear a new world' E.P..
painted by Joe Meek around 1965/66 he painted over his signature in 1967, just before shooting his landlady dead and then killing himself, the movie 'Telstar' will tell all the story, go Google it now, he is a legend of British music and died in unfortunate circumstances , and this painting is priceless..........well almost?

@cinnamonpony not sure , i have the record I was filming at the time but its in a box with hundreds of others, what I can tell you is that its on a ep called ' I hear a new world' and I have seen it on CD on ebay, the single is quite rare, hope this helps

I only own this panting thanks to my dad, the late Neil Hiley, he met Joe's family in 1973,Neil was a legend in areas of Manchester when it came to 50s& 60s music and trivia with his radio shows on the local BBC 'oldies but goodies' & 'rock back the clock' he moved to Greece & died in 2007 aged 62,If it was not for him the painting would have been burned along with the other art work that was in the leaky shed at the time.

I was a big fan of Neil Hiley I''d never miss a single show and always taped it in fact I still have a CD I made up of Neils Show bless him hope he's still rocking in heaven with all the other cats see you soon Neil keep it rocking till I get there
