Sure Dinero he IS NOT Asian nor he's white nor black of course but he and whole DBZ IS highly influenced by Asian culture.

So I'll repeat what I said about this long ago:

It would be A BIT better idea to put Asian to play Goku but IMO its nothing significantly better as the whole live action idea just doesn't work with DBZ and will never work in my opinion.

If you take away DBZ's artystyle you took away soul from it...its not any more DBZ at all...

Yes you're 100% right he may not be Asian or White ect. but he certainly does have Asian influences, no doubt. It's just that often people try to make definitive justifications as to what race he is based on things like his skin tone, the language he and everyone speaks in ect. when those things don't prove one point or the other. But I do understand why he's considered Asian and like you said it would be better for an Asian to play him, when you consider the racial casting in Hollywood...cont

cont..but I suppoted this b/c I thought they cared for Dragon Ball as mush as I did, they lied to us about what they were doing in regards to the film, and I didn't think it could have the disassterous results we got. I'm perfectly happy with just the manga and anime. I know I said I wanted a reboot before but at this point I think it should be left alone, but I'm sure that someone eles will try and while I may not be willing to give them my support...cont

cont...because even if it's 50 years from now it honestly may not live up to Akira's work, and even then it will still stand that NO REAL PERSON looks exactly like Goku regardless of there race b/c anime doesn't rely on realism where as live action does. I at least hope that whoever may attempt that (prefearably the Japanese) would respect the source material unlike these guys did. Sorry for this REALLY long post, I guess I just had a lot to say and hopefully I got my point accross.

Also,for The Crow, movie and TV show are based on apperance.Maybe the crow was suppose to be a pure white but Brandon lee(even if is half chinese) don't look asian at all. When race his not obvious hollywood don't care.BTW,in my opinion SSJ hair would be golden in real life. Also, i have the feeling that Akria just don't want to bust the bubble of anyone by reveling Goku's race.Depanding where you're from you will associate goku to your race i'm sure there even a minority who think he's mexican.

The guy at 6:30(don't know him)is based on Gambit but that does not make him a white, well you would probably say that he is asian right?why? because of his asian influence(sabre,hat etc) .Well if we assume this character is asian because of that why can we do the same thing for Goku.Well his cloth kind of look like gambit(the hood thing)but other than that he's probably loosly  based on him but Goku his HIGHLY based on Sun wukong(ALWAYS PLAYED BY ASIAN ACTORS) let alone been in a asian setting.
