Eddie Spears (Quanah Parker) and Alan Tafoya (Peta Nacona) speaking about researching their roles for Comanche Moon.

First time I've tried editing a video, not as good as I'd like it to be - still learning.

  • holy shit!!!! eddie you sex on legs!!!! my native men are soooo sexy***

  • Has anyone ever noticed that every race has a certain type of voice? Even without an accent, the voice and the structure of the vocal chords must have something specifically designed to give a certain tone? Africans, Natives, White Europeans. They all have a common sound in their voices within their race. So cool. Indigenous voices are so low, raspy, yet very subtle and monotonous. Love Culture. Love People. Love the Earth.

  • @fenriz218 If May was off, he did introduce many Germ./Austr. young people to Ind. cultures in his way---Old Shatterhand was the sidekick I believe. Richard Erdoes, from Budapest, says he read the May novels & became fascinated in Ind.s. & what happened? years later he co-wrote the classic "Lame Deer Seeker of Visions"--which no doubt is available in Ger.--wonderful book. I will check out that mus.after I see that famous castle. The Sioux r the enemy tribe only to their enemies!

  • @windstorm1000 of course, and so was Chief Iron-Eye Cody - you have to admit, he made a great chief. In the end, it's really more of a aesthetic question.

I'm not sure how it is in the US and if they let the Indians leave those reservations, but if you ever in Bavaria, I recommend you watch the "Karl May Festspiele" in Bad Segeberg.

As to Apache or Sioux, are the Sioux an enemy tribe? In the movies, they're usually the bad guys.

    HAW! Fenriz218 has spoken!

  • I know Alan--we were in acting class together.

  • @fenriz218 those Winnetous were all wrong culturally---he was a sioux paddling around in a canoe---it'd be like if Baverians culture were used to describe people from Berlin--see?

  • @fenriz218 yeah, he was a ONE great indian--except he was 100 percent Italian American--you knew that right?

  • @bibiJ63 they're not all gorgeous...some are fat or thin--you think they picked the latter for these roles?--course not, they pick the handsome ones. you might go to a pow wow and see people of different attractiveness--outer , anyway.

  • @windstorm1000 Are you regarding my comment about vocal chords? I AM Native American and that comment is scientific. No stereotypes at all.

  • da fuck!?? u fuckers don't know your Chiefs? you'll just for show! go back to school boyz...

  • Sorry for this word...but damn, are Indian men gorgeous!!! Indian people are beautiful anyway. Period!!
