@postrealitysyndrome in 50 years, China has changed from an extremely poor war torn country to one of the world's greatest economical power, people see that because they can't deny what's obvious, yet people refuse to believe Chinese political policy has changed because they cover they eyes and ears, would not go see themselves, instead listen to Media accusing of China the same old crime because in that sense they can still feel their surperiority over China.

Oh my! What sort of legal recourse against the Chinese government is there? Do you remember Tiananmen Square? 

Tibet was forced to be part of China, so is considered an independent state under illegal occupation. China's invasion or continued occupation has not transferred the sovereignty of Tibet to China. How does one start a legal preceding against an occupying power?! States like Quebac and Texas are different in that they entered into agreement with federal governments.

@postrealitysyndrome Like you said Quebec move for Independence is a legal method. Tibet so far has made almost no attempt to start any formal meeting with BeiJing, their revolt is simply an act of violence, on one hand, they are hurting people and civil stability of the area, on the other hand they are calling for foreign power to back them in their illegal actions. Chinese government is being very conservative in term of supressing the revolt. That is not an act of Tynranny.
