  • Yes, but this is a pretty light weight and I was concentrating more on the transition between the hang clean and the jerk for upper body explosiveness.

  • Definitely. It improves hip strength and the ability to drop your hip and change levels quickly. It also help with overall upper body strength and speed.

  • I saw the hang cleans, but where's the jerk instruction. Your video title is misleading ...

  • wow!!!! here is an example of what NOT to do.(1) you didn't go under the bar (squat). (2) you had your arms do the lifting instead of driving it up with the thrust of your hips and landing under it (3) your elbows are so low they're shaking hands with Satan.(4) you SHOULD NOT be promoting this video unless your goal is to injure the public. What do I know, I'm just a little bitty woman and you men have run the weight room, SMH.

  • So many people do the Clean incorrectly, incl you. You finish the clean in a shoulder press position - incorrect, your forearms should parallel to floor, elbows high, bar rests on the shoulders and then press - like Olympic lifters do. Watch them! Good luck
