An homage to Gary Fjellgaards song Train of Dreams, from his "Believe in Forever" and "Best of" albums (www.fjellgaard.bc.ca). Gary is one of my favorites, and after filming some model train shorts, I decided to use them along with my own catalog of pictures from travels around western Canada.

  • @Om7Azna You're welcome. I was happy to find a way to show off my pics, and those short clips of toy trains. It was all done with cheap camera too....should do another one. Gary really stirs me up. I love playing his songs at home too.

  • @gc53dfgc. I might also suggest murray mclauchlan on iTunes and 'Never did like that train'. Might work good for a video.

  • @gc53dfgc. The song can be easily downloaded from iTunes I believe, or go to garys website and buy the album. I think I put the link in the song description.

  • too much background noise....other than that it's good.

  • @silversongma You're funny! It's not background noise -- it's called sound effects, and comes and goes with the song and the sound of the toy trains in slow motion. It is then used for effect after the end of the song to simulate sitting in the train car as the doors open and close and he is seeing things out the window on his trip across the country.

  • @silversongma Other than that-- thanks for the comment.

  • Thank you for posting this. I haven't heard it sung by him in years....

  • do you know where I could download this song without the special effects sounds?

tried searching on youtube but yours is the only one to show up.

  • I know they are sound effects....the point is, is that they are too loud, and should be lowered in the mix. They end up taking away from the song rather than adding to it the way it is presently mixed.

  • good :)
