Louise Hudd Rowing for Ross

Louise Hudd recently stopped rowing for Ross on Wye juniors to focus on sixth form commitments. Louise is studying sport science and has chosen rowing as her A level footage. She found some videos she was in on RowTv.

As Louise has to send the rowing footage off to an examiner, there were a number of techical decisions to make:

1 Would the video be on DVD in PAL standards so her examiner could play it on a DVD player with fast-forward, skip & menu facilities?

2 Did Louise have other video or photos to add? On Windows PCs, this would require .avi standard files

3 Would the examiner watch the video on her PC from the DVD? This option called for either .mpg or .mp4 files for smooth playback

In the end, Louise settled for option 3, and is now waiting to hear what her future holds.
