@syntaxburn It's not "protestantism," it's called "accountability" -- as in, if you ALREADY KNOW that one drink is too many and a hundred is not enough, and you take that drink anyway, you can no longer blame your "disease." Likewise, spoons full of coke and needles full of heroin don't just randomly forced themselves into your system while you're just walking down the street minding your own business. ;) And non-protestants are just as capable of being smug judgmental jerks, too.
