Command & Conquer Mobile Headquarters

An unused video from Command & Conquer 1 showing how a Mobile Headquarters is destroyed with napalm.

The Mobile Headquarters is a unit that only appears in the Capture the Flag multiplayer mode, if you have disabled the use of bases in the game. The objective of such a game is simply to destroy the MHQ of your enemy.


This is NOT, I repeat, NOT a RA1 Radar Jammer. They just recycled the MHQ's graphics for the RA1 MRJ.

I think this can be Scout in TD mod to replace the one of C&C3.

BTW, will the air strike at 00:20 available in the TD mod? I really hope we can have that.

Airstrike is A-10s, and the specific MHQ game mode will be implemented, afaik.

Anyway, please, ask stuff like that on the TD forum, and not here. I'm just a VIP there, not an actual part of the team.

This unit is available on Multiple game when we disable Contruction Yard. I remember if this unit is killed, all of your units are dead except 3 Mammoth tanks.

Bases disabled AND capture the Flag, actually.

The thing with the three mammoth tanks is pure luck. When the Mobile HQ is destroyed, the game applies huge amounts of damage on the positions of all your units. If any units escaped, it's probably just because they're in mid-movement, in between two cells on the map. I've seen a Hummvee survive it that way, too.

A-10 is for a kinda Airstrike but the one on the vid is fighter's one. Wolrd in Conflict has all kinds of airstrikes that include this one...bombs can kill all buildings and units in a small area. A-10 is able to strike a "line" area. :D

So, the Counterstrike Tesla Tank ripped off the Mobile Radar Jammer, which ripped off the Mobile Headquarters in TD, eh?

It's made after the same model.

Well, the original Counterstrike Telsa Tank used the graphics of the Mobile Radar Jammer. And as I pointed out in the video description, that one's the same as the C&C1 Mobile HQ. Then for Aftermath they made actual new graphics for it, but still based on the same model.
