Vickers Vimy RC model exhibition flight at Karlskoga model show, Sweden 2008

Tomas Leijon makes a show flight at the model airshow in Karlskoga, Sweden in the summer of 2008. The model has a wingspan of 4,2 meters and a take of weight is 24kg. The motors are electric Hacker C50-12 XL brushless motors and the model uses 40 LiPo cells. The model flyes beautiful but requires some careful handling with the sticks. The speaker is Hans Crispin. @eitanoiman Thank you. The cameraman is a TV-pro named Hans Crispin. He is a modeller to but only builds J3 Cubs(!) The model handles beautifully and is quite easy to handle and as you can see, it even glides rather good. Good luck with your Vimy and if you happen to visit Sweden, go to the "Sparreholms car museeum" and have a look at my model wich is now part of the permanent exhebition.

That a beutifull airplane and a great scale like flying (especially the landing)

I am now building an electric 1.4 M vickers vimi from Depron. Great cameraman as well!!!
