He is reading from a script. He is not technical so he just repeat what other people tell him. It's really sad that the CEO of a tech company cannot tell a T1 from a E1.

behm changed cisco to a distribution dealer company from a direct sales firm. he took all synoptics/bay channels and 3com channels quickly over to cisco before they could react. his battle was strategic.

John is totally reading and he knows his shit! He is most likely just catching up on the outline, not the teleprompter! Although, he does seem to know when exactly to slow down for emphasis. Anyways, brilliant, talented, knowledgeable man, and I'll watch him no matter if he's reading or not.

NO, he is not. I used to work there. He REALLY knows/understands this stuff and helps to drive the technology in that direction.
