The Holy Quran:
"Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception." (V.3:185)
"Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned." (V.21:35)
"Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned." (V.29:57)
