  • excellent video Will! congratullations! good work! To play trumpet what is the dimensions and shape of mouthpiece that you recommend? I play with a wood mouthpice with 3,5CM of diameter and a little oval shaped rather than circular. Thanks!

    Maxi

  • @didgerimbu That sounds like a good size mouthpiece for an overall range - smaller mouthpieces make it easier however I think practicing in general can surpass the need for a smaller mouthpiece to hit trumpets. this technique makes it possible for me to hit the higher range on any size mouthpiece and the concave face helps to move my mouth a lot without loosing the seal - maybe try adding a concave face to yours

  • Thank you so much for your advises, I get the first and the second easily but now thanks to you I'm gonna try the third in a different way.

    Thank you from France.

  • @Mistafatbob Awesome let me know if it makes a difference and thanks for the feedback!
