OK I've owned mine for 1 1/2 years now, my only gripes are the tires are wearing pretty quick and the mileage is only 26,000 so far (I don't do burnouts), and the dashboard has a tiny rattle up by the a pillar on the passenger side. Have you invested in newer tires yet?

I have grown to like the car since I have had it for a year now......I do have a problem with the arm rest on drivers door cracking open...I replaced it twice and it split open again....

@thesurfr you seem to be the only person who has this problem. Are you referring to daytime or night driving when the reflection is bad? I just don't see it. Maybe because it's always cloudy where I am?
-
@coandcaiv if you accelerate slowly and shift early you can get better mpg than the auto.

How do those Dunlops handle in the snow? Everybody on the forums are recommending winter tires but I have plenty of snow driving experience. Being from the Northeast, how do you rank the handling in snow? I can't wait to test it out to see how the mid-car gas tank location balances out the weight of the car.

@thesurfr I haven't noticed it myself except for when I had my GPS mounted at night. There was an annoying reflection on the windshield. I figured that I should get a visor for the GPS. Concerning headlights, they seem better than my '94 Ford Escort.
Can't say I have the same dash issue. 40k now and body is pretty solid. Tires rotated twice, with some tread left, but starting exhibit cracks. Hopefully get through this winter and definitely get new set in the spring.

Very nice, no issues other than the nail days after purchase. About to enter third winter with original set.

The acceleration is very adequate. For max power & torque, you really need to wind it up past 4 - 5K. Even then the motor is a sweet sounding 4 banger compared to others. It just doesn't have that econobox sound or feel. This platform must be acceptable as there' s a Mugen version of the Fit. I replaced the air filter for a K&N and it's noticeably breathing and sounding better. DefiniteIy worth the extra $40. I now have about 11K and am very pleased to inform you that I avg 35.1 mpg.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. I really appreciate it! I 've never posted a video on youtube so I figured I give it a try with the new ride.
