Woman falls into the Puget Sound when running off train tracks. A woman and 3 men were walking on the tracks when the north bound 5:35pm, train from Seattle to Everett came along. The train was south of Edmonds station a few miles when the incident occured. The train blew its whistle and came to a stop, not hitting any of the pedestrians. The woman had jumped to some rocks on the water side of the tracks and fell into the water, hitting her head. She was limp face down in the water, but was rescued and was breathing when put on the train to take her to Edmonds Station to meet the emergency vehicles. A witness said at least one of the maile companions was intoxicated. EMT's moving the accident victim from the train to the ambulance. The train was held at the Edmonds station until release by King County authorities, since the accident happened in King Co.
I actually happen to be there at the scene and got my video camera with me. I have a video response of your train at Edmonds.
