http://www.BKWineTours.com *Come on a Wine & Food Tour with us!* --- Interview with Graham Nutter of Chateau St Jacques d'Albas

Graham acquired Château Saint Jacques d'Albas some seven years ago, as the realisation of a long-time dream of becoming winemaker. Graham has invested heavily in the property and in the soil to make it a premier example of a quality wine producer in the Languedoc region in the south of France.

At St Jacques d'Albas they make an effort to use as little spraying and chemical fertilisers as possible. Instead they use the method Couisinie by Jean-Pierre Couisinié that is a natural vine growing method based on homeopathic principles that have proven to increase the health and dynamism of the vines.

Chateau St Jacques d'Albas is located at the western end of Minervois towards Carcassonne in the Languedoc. The primary red grape varieties are Syrah and Grenache. They make three different ranges of wine: La Chapelle, Le Chateau and Le Domaine.
