I hope this is not the start of the Americanization of Korean people.. :-(

I love Korea, because Korean people are so nationalistic and they are so proud about their race. But it makes me quite sad seeing the Anycall mobile company include the English Dictionary as a feature of their phones; hearing some English phrases from Korean dramas, as if it's "cool" to speak English. I was even able to watch a Kdrama (Comeback Soon-Ae) in which the mother forces her child to learn English instead of watching Korean-speaking cartoons...

Perhaps people in my country would be more patriotic. Perhaps we would love more our own culture, artists, and products. Perhaps those foreign companies would adapt themselves to our own taste. I always admire how Korean people feel proud about their culture and products. From the hanbok to the modern Samsung/Anycall mobile phones.. I hope Korean people are clever enough not to make the same "wrong idea" about learning the English language like my countrymen have.

I wish Koreans won't learn the English language, as I think this will spark the Americanization of the country. I believe that language has a great impact on society. Like in my country (Philippines), if a person can speak English, he/she is considered to be more intelligent and have a higher social status, which disunites more the people of our country. Learning English has advantages and disadvantages. But for a young person like me, I always wondered how it would be if we cant speak English..

I like how you use other tools most broadcast journalist aren't proficient in to give these ads their own feel. Keep on Truckin...
Thank You for the Nice Video!!
I Love Korea & I love America!!
I am a Korean-American.
But honestly.. I am not happy being a Korean-American. I would rather be much happier living in Korea as Just another normal Korean. America is just too much for me.. Too Wild.. 본인의 발언이 실례가 되었다면, 사과드리겠습니다. 하지만 진심입니다. 고향이 좋아요!! 미국은 그냥 관계없는 타지의 깡 시골 같이 느껴져요..
