Sweet! I have been working with Photoshop since version 3 somewhere in the mid 90s, and I still use it till this very day for my work. I have always avoided the damn pen tool. See how much a 6 minute tutorial can make a difference. The alt-key was the key for me too (no pun intended).

to create line: Right click on path while pentool is selected, and click on stoke path. Just if you didn't know XD

i found it out...when you use the pen tool at the top under image there are 3 different types...shapes, paths, and fill...click on the paths so it doesnt fill up the inside

yes, i just found that out too afterwards when i look for another tutorial about pen tool lol!
