I think Gary Karr would say "CHOCOLATE!!!" when describing the sound of this bass no doubt about it. and that's w/ spirocores on it... imagine if it was strung w/ a pair of Eudoxa's! I think I'd explode or spontaneously combust!!!
you could swing a band so hard moving that much air, and they cut thru everything in an orchestra section! I used to sit by a guy who played one, Jesus H. Christ that thing was loud!
