Time to Camo Your Guns

I believe it is time for preppers to start camouflaging their guns. If you have not done so, now is the time.

I have been contemplating camouflaging my guns for years. It looks cool and is a practical thing to do for preppers. But the thought of doing a poor job held me back. Finally I got around to doing it. This video shows my Rock River LAR 8 (.308 Win - 7.63 NATO) before and after camo.

It's not that hard to camo, and it looks cool. If I get a good response and time, I might do an instructional. There are plenty of really good vids and sources of info on how to camo.

@swflguy06 It took me over a year to actually camo my weapons. I did not want to screw it up. What I did was practice on things, even ice chests, etc. until I thought I had it down. If you use Krylon or other paint, you can always go over it if you don't like it. Just be careful of excess paint build up. There are plenty of youtube vids showing how to do it.

@1oldarmyguy It's Krylon. Duracote is great but it is harder to apply and costs more. It is also harder to change in the field. With cheap Kryon, I can change the color to adapt to surroundings. Krylon makes a camo paint line that is flat. LOL Once you get started, you want to camo everything. Thanks for watching.
