I became a Spice Girls fan when "Wannabe" was released and seeing that music video was at my old house in the basement. I was jamming it like a Spice Party. I love them ever since then.

British are definitely more vicious. Just last weekend we had X-Factor, and Whitney's dress unstrapped at the back .I just knew Brits would comment on that. Or when Sheryl Cole performed one of her songs by miming the words. She got so slagged. I'm thinking right away, you dumb fucks try to perform a perfectly sung song whilst jumping around all over the stage. Impossible. It's like Mel B said, people here will encourage you at first to try to tear you down as opposed to USA. Am I right?

I think it depends. For example Heidi Montag has been heavily criticized and mocked from the beginning. I think you have to earn it. For example Britney Spears. She lip syncs a lot but has earned respect for putting on a great show and is a gifted dancer. And the fact that she can sing live, but just doesn't. So I think you have to earn some credibility in the USA.

I admire anyone who can carry a tune and sing at the same time. It takes a pretty strong voice.

Spice girls had the X FACTOR plus the fact they promoted girl power thats why girls looked up to them and that equaled success
