@allgoo19 Electric bikes are not for lazy people any more than cars or motorcycles are. What you have is a society of people who refuse physical exertion and then complain when they are overweight and have associated diseases..number one reason people don't bike? They can afford not to. Maybe recession is a good thing..people will get off their fat lazy asses cause they have too!

In my book, yes.

I'm comparing to PAS(Pedal assist system) like the one in the video.

Electric bikes belong to the group of cars, motorcycle, electric wheelchair which give no exercise value.

PAS belongs to another group, bicycle, roller skates, scooter which promote at least some degree of exercise.

Did you know PAS motor won't start moving the wheel until you start pedaling?

Btw I agree this thing is way too expensive for what it is. I guess theyre marketing it as a fun gadget for the well-to-do rather than as a practical alternative to a scooter
