In August 2011, students from the Kenaitze and Qutekcak tribes and Anchorage area spent six days working out of a base camp high on a mountain at Devil's Creek on the Kenai Peninsula. The kids surveyed potential archeological sites on the edge of retreating ice patches. The students also created media for use in public education. In this video, a student describes her experience on the mountain.
