Total Drama MEP //CLOSED// .Here We Go Again.

(Thank you Karen for getting the TDmeps going. XD I thought they were a great Idea!) NOTE: There's a few editing mistakes in this. I did it really quickly. :/

Hi guys! In case you didn't know, MEP stands for Multi-Editor Project. This MEP may be a little different from the ones in the past, so please read the directions carefully. Ready to join? XD
Okay, let's get started...

RULES:
-You must audition first! Please post your best Total Drama MV (that you have done in the past) as a video response. The best ones will get chosen for this MEP.

-All auditions should be submitted and judged by August 5th.
-You may use any video program. Sony Vegas and WMM are perfect. :)
-For each track you will choose one character from TDI and base your part around them. We DO NOT want to use clips that other people have already chosen. So you will pick ONE character only! Such as Bridgette or Gwen, Etc...
-Your part must be done by the given deadline. (I'll give plenty of time)
-Please be in contact with me. :) If you are leaving for a while please let me know ahead of time.
-No fighting. (Obviously)
-Try your best to get your video in full screen. (no black edges). Sony Vegas is easy to adjust by watching a tutorial. :)




How To Audition?

-Post a video response with the video you want to audition with. It has to be a music video of course! XD
-By the 5th of August I will have all the parts judged and the results will be posted.
-Once you know you've gotten in, it's then that you may choose your character and track. Not everybody will get the one they want, sorry. :(




About This MEP:

For Sony Vegas Users: This MEP will be for WMM parts too, so we have to make it flow! Try and cut down on the effects... I know it's hard, but try NOT to use more then three layers. We want it to match other parts too, ya'know? NO GRAPHICS, but text and coloring effects are fine. :) Just don't go overboard... Try to focus more on the clips then the effects themselves. ^_^

For Windows Movie Maker Users: You have to be good. XD Overlapping the clips and using the fade-in effects are always nice. Try not to use too many effects like the changing-color and warping effects; those are dead give-a-ways that you use WMM. Try to keep it fresh and simple! And match the lyrics and scenes as best as you can. XD

I'm trying to make both programs work together so that the video will flow. I know some of you guys want to use a bunch of effects, but we want to tone it down for these parts... So the video will flow, ya' know? XD

And If you use a program besides those two, please keep the same idea in mind. Try to think of how WMM and SV users both edit. Try to bring something in common so they flow. :)

-Also! I will send you a download link to the track you get. Therefore you will get about 15 seconds of the song and you will not need to buy it. XD

Technically you don't... But you have to be really creative with your media. If pictures are used then be good with them and have them be able to match with clips. XD Get what I'm saying? Its more likely that you will get a spot if you use clips.
