  • @bellapen01 you colour first and then put water on them with a paintbrush slowly. it takes some practice. dont add too much water as they may leave water marks. do it slowly and take your time. i hope this answers your question.

  • @bellapen01 maybe that is the issue? I am a begginner but the tube paints seem very much easier to mix and manipulate to get nice colors. You do not need to wet them to mix them as they are already in visqous form. I think most if not all pros use the tube inks.

  • @Logicfray dry caked ink

  • @bellapen01 are you using pans (dry caked ink) or tubes of paint?

  • nice job sir, i have just a question, i starting with watercolours but i have problem mixing the colours, i see that when you melt them they are very liquid, and you place them in an empty slot so you can adjust them, but you use to add water at the empy slot and then the colours or you add water direcly on dry colour? beacouse i have problem with them they are very dry i'm not able to create a liquid amalgam. thank you
