360 Vision exclusive: are Canadian gold mining operations making the people of Honduras sick?

For hundreds of years, foreigners in Honduras have been carrying away the Central American country's wealth of silver and gold. Hondurans say the mining companies leave nothing but sickness and death behind - and now, led by Roman Catholic clergy, they are demanding an end to it.

On its next edition, VisionTV's Gemini Award-nominated current affairs series 360 Vision presents the second part of its documentary report on the growing battle in Honduras between the Church and foreign companies like Canada's Goldcorp Inc - and investigates claims that the mining operations are threatening the health of Hondurans.

The program airs on Wednesday, May 2 at 10 p.m. ET, and repeats on Monday, May 7 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
