Indian Hindi song - Excellent lyrics, song from yester-years. For mature audience who appreciate old is good type of songs. Movie - Namastejee. You wish this song should not end. Extremely popular song of that era. A rare find.

  • A wonderful song!!! Great lyrics, music and beautifully sung by Lata-Mukesh.Hats off to all of them!!! Proud to be Indian!!!

  • Thanks for your comments.

  • Thank you for uploading such a wonderful song. This has been my all time favourite and it has a special place in my heart. I'll only say...'Jane Kahan Gaye Woh Din ?'

  • Those days are gone for ever. I don't think Indian music will go back to the way it was in 1950-90.

  • Great song. Do you have other songs from this film? "Mere do naina matwaare" is a lovely song.

    Thanks

  • I am trying to the dvd so that I can all the songs. But no luck.

    Directed By: DALIT KRISHAN

    Music By: G.S. KOHLI

  • @vbk2312 I seldom watch movies let alone the ones that had OP's name on them. OP was a folk music western music imitator, not talented. Ghazals that he claimed were copied from "Real Maestros" such as Anil Biswas, C. Ramchandra, Naushad etc etc. GS Kohli's music was superior. Would feel sorry for GS if he did try to walk on OP's fungussed foot prints

  • @RealMusicKing G.S.Kohli's music very much in the style of O>P>Nayyar only without any doubt, because Kohli was Asst,Music Director to O>P>Nayyar..Whene3ver yopu see the title cards of Mere Sanam,Kashmir ki kali G>S>Kohli as Asst.Misic Director,s name. Just watch the background music when the titles are shown in Mere Sanam. It was G>S>KJohli only.

  • simply beautiful!

  • Thank you very much for such a wonderful song

  • @RealMusicKing Type "Namasteji music director" on Yahoo and you will find out the music director. Check out song from "Faulad" Yaad tori ayee by Asha , another gem from G S Kohli. who had only a few movies, but some excellent songs.

  • @smodass Thank you for you message. Best to my knowledge, it was by Usha Khanna. I have heard some of G.S. Kohli's music(Shikari mainly). Has no resemblance to OP's so called "Style". Not many films to Kohli's name though.

BTW, does "SMOD" stand for "SMART" ? Just curious.

  • @RealMusicKing Music by G S Kohli, who used to be O P Nayyar's assistant. If you hear other songs from Namastejee you will see some of the O P touch. If you ever wanted to know Lata would sound singing for O P Nayyar, then listen to G S Kohli songs. Other hit movie of his was Shikari (Starring Ajit and Helen) .

  • The song is for Mehmood & Ameeta...
