bugatti veyron hp gage hit's 1001 mark

i tried to film the horse power guage while it shows 1001 horse power,but the g-force was strong could not hold the camera steady any more.sorry,enjoy.

@2345godfather im am apologizing for that poor example of a german that doesn't know shit and brags around with stupid facts that aren't true. the 1001 are measured in ps and he 987 are hp its just a different way of measuring KW. for example the bmw website in germany says the m3 has 420 ps .... the american website says it has 416 hp ...... :)

@cellmate454 actually the lambo would be faster but then it wouldnt be production veyron is only fastest production car there are plenty of faster aftermarkets like in 1/4th mile my friends 800hp monte would walk a veyron but its also aftermarket not stock though

Its not about max power... why would it be? its about having 1001HP for DAILY usage... you can drive it anytime, anywhere, for as long and hard as you want, it will keep working. Day in day out, no discomfort, no extra work needs to be done. That is what this car is about.... not everyone wants to get the absolute maximum from an engine, because that will cost you durability.

@esdymo Yet this car is still faster. You can throw turbos and nos and all that bullshit on anything and give it a shitload of horsepower. But this car is an engineering marvel. Theres a difference. Im not really partial to veyrons, but Its defiantly not 'fail' as you put it.

actually this car is fail... 16 cylinders with 4 turbos only got 1001hp, lambo with a v12.. added twin turbo got 1500hp
