"The Patio" (original song by Katie Woodward) 12-18-2011

I was inspired to write this song by something my mom wrote about her mother (my grandmother) who was recently diagnosed with cancer. This song is dedicated to both of them. The quality isn't the best, because I had to record it on short notice -- I planned on recording it for Christmas, which would have given me more time to make it sound better. But due to recent events, I decided it would be best to do it early. I didn't have time to do any editing, mixing, etc.; so it's a rough, low quality recording. The only effects you hear are from my pedal and recording hardware, so don't expect much.

Equipment: Epiphone DR212 12 string guitar, piece of crap AXL transducer mic, HiSonics vocal mic, Alexis mixer, Digitech RP50 effects pedal, Behringer Xenyx mixer, Lexicon Alpha recording interface, MacBook with GarageBand.
