I am glad these people are doing this to clean our waters. All that trash is so appalling (people who throw it in the wares), and so is the garbage.

Hi Annmarie! You should know that this trash does not come from people on the water, but from people on land. Street storm drains in Nassau County lead directly, unfiltered, to our south shore waterways. So any litter on the streets get deposited into our waters every time it rains. For 19 years OpSPLASH has been picking up this street trash...now over 237 TONS. We all can help by not littering and picking up trash that's on the street. THANKS FOR WATCHING.
