3 of Bristol Recon (Elvis, Sabrescout, Viper) attended Stirling's Operation Storm King at Tag Wood, May 2011. A helicopter combat mission, the event (as with many of the Stirling ones) was around 10% combat, the remainder being roleplay, patrol, observation etc, which is probably fairly reflected in this video
Filmed on the GoPro HD 720p, 30 fps (setting R2), with a few photos taken on an Xperia X10.
A full 24 hour event, BR were on the DBR (local/guerilla side) hence the long-distance view of the helis! Some great action, and top memories of an interesting site and mission.
DBR - civilian clothing and green camo. Roles of villagers, locals etc, we all roleplayed to varying degrees (us BR guys a little too much at points!) with papers for transit across the site. We were unable to visibly take weapons in and out of our village for fear of Task Force reprisals!
Task Force - multicam. Various objectives, most of which were completed, albeit in the face of a spirited DBR resistance
Plenty of vehicles, props, missions, plus the interrogations, snatches, ambushes etc made for a varied and interesting event. Roll on the next one :)
As stated above, if you're interested in attending a Stirling event please be aware it is NOT a 100% airsoft battle! (But the instances of action are great)
Thanks for watching

Our next film is likely to be of the Ai500 Op Waldgeist in June
