This may very well be the best song about Rock'n'Roll and music radio in the good old days EVER written. The core lyric says everything there is to say and everything anybody would need to know:

saw little steven at the beer keller in Newcastle (England) in the 80s. Loved "Men Without Women" and was desperate to see him live. Wasn't disappointed, brilliant night! I remember him saying we were the craziest audience he had ever seen (haha) and this coming from a guy who's played the Stone Pony in NJ!

From the drums opening "Lyin In A Bed Of Fire", I knew "Men Without Women" was just gonna kick my ass. It stll does.
