@typhoonq In India, everything runs on bribes, without bribe, you have really tough time to get the work done. these bribes are very high, and you never see that money again.
Until 11 Century India was richest country, until 17 century India was one of the rich countries. India had been looted and reped again again by invaders. Unfortunate thing is Indians are peace loving people, they don't want war, but rest of world is not same. 21 century is showing some signs of getting back its gllory.

In India many things are unofficial, you never find records, but locals know it, that slowly fades off after certain time. What do think, India is poor country? India is ruled by shit people to make people of india poor.
I just want to give one example, there is a ruling political party family, in 2002 they hardly had any money(< 1 Mil), today that family made about $30 billion , this is unaccounted.

In order to save such amount as claimed by you, you need to generate wealth within India. Where did this money come from ? India current GDP is less than $2 Trillion.

3> Indians do cook a lot. Indians who stays outside of India, who live in cooler places than in India they close all the windows. the cook smell stays inside the house, this sticks to d cloths so that smell.
