As far as I know the council filled in the south end in 1983. I don't know about the North end.
If you look at the map, you can trace the line of the railway from opposite the High Kirk, down past the back of th epolice station and through to where the nightclub in the former Weslyan chapel is on Ward Road.
The chapel was built on the site of the original Dundee Station and the incline ran up the line of Drummond Street and upper Constitution road (more or less).

Excellant video. Made me feel very happy watching it, great stuff!

I could easily cycle down the Law....for going up I would need a car.

Haha you nearly ran over a wee doogie. That made me laugh alright ! Its just the way the dog ran ! Great video btw! Oh and great idea too x

Great idea! And as someone else said, good choice of music...
Awesome; i was wondering if anyone had filmed themselves doing this. I've started riding up the law recently - starting from the car park behind abertay uni and then slowly winding my way up...quite tough - the first time i did this it felt like my throat had been ripped out. I ride a shiny new Specialised Rockhopper - what bike you on?

An ancient Scwinn MOAB .3 MTB - much modified over the years and weighing about 15kg.

velcro cable ties and bungees. I used pipe lagging as padding. For the side shots, front shots and worms eye view the camera was on a tripod strapped to the bike.
