http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/ John shows you how to make herbal liniment using dried comfrey root, valerian root, calendula flowers, cinnamon and cayenne. An adaptation of the classic Jethro Kloss herbal remedy for aches and pains. The liniment will be applied to the skin and the alcohol will evaporate rapidly allowing the herbs to penetrate quickly to accomplish such actions as relieving sore muscles and increasing circulation.

I am so sorry this didn't work out for you. Was it the recipe that didn't work out or the liniment didn't do what you hoped it would do? ~Kori

thank you for this video! i have recently quit drinking alcohol (problem drinker), and i have been searching for a way to make liniments and tinctures without having to expose myself to anything that may tempt me to take a drink. i do understand these are for topical use only, because rubbing alcohol cannot be ingested safely. is there something you could suggest to use in place of alcohol for making tinctures, that would be safe for internal use?

You can make herbal glycerites with vegetable glycerin or herbal vinegars in place of alcohol extracts. Thanks for your question!

That's terrific! Now, can that be turned into a solid using beeswax? I guess, you would have to place that certain combination of herbs into Olive Oil and infuse them that way. Correct?
