  • Instead of filming, why not help look for people. I hear u say u need to start looking for people but never do. What if it was your family trapped under the rubble, wouldn't u want someone to help them.. Just saying

  • @johncrocker30516 Well if you pay attention to the video and notice how I told the elapsed time after it struck you will see that the video is broken up in segments. During this time we were pulling people out from the rubble and continued to help as much as possible till night fall. Thanks for taking the time to view my video!

  • Thanks guys for the support please help me get this video out

  • What do they do right after a tornado destroys their street? These guys rushed out to check on other people, some good guys right there.

  • thanks for the upload guys...i lived in the house directly behind hokaido in cedar crest. we were in the house when the tornado hit also. Actually at 4:47 i am the guy with the red shorts and white shirt standing next to my dad and my other two roommates. we were still in shock over being alive. i was yelling about my bed and how theres a fire place on top of it you can hear the audio in the video. glad you guys were all ok.. this video brings chills to my bones expecially after seeing myself.

  • wow, this is insane... I live about 35 minutes from Tuscloosa, another tornado came pretty close to my house (the North Bibb tornado) that day is still burned into my mind. I still know Tuscaloosa like the back of my hand, we go there all the time, it's so heartbreaking to see 15th street where we was at just a week before, just gone. Glad yall were alright, amazing footage, I've not seen a video that shows before, during and after like that... I'd drop my camera for sure, lol... good job! :)

  • It was a borderline EF5 w/ winds of 190mph. Meteorologist here...You guys were so lucky to be alive...Praying for your recovery in T-Town..My buddy is the chief meteorologist at WVUA in Tuscaloosa...So you guys are in my prayers...That is some of the craziest videos I've seen of this tornado..

  • it was an f4....If you want to see an f5 watch the joplin video

  • This year has been insane w/ the number of different types of disasters we've had. "That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds, snakes and airplanes, but Lenny Bruce is not afraid...."

  • Pause it at 3:25....the tree that is broken in half to the left is where i used to live....right there on the corner...breaks my heart

  • I'm glad you guys were smart enough to realize the danger that was around you. So many videos like this people don't take it seriously. Hopefully things are getting back to normal as this was an intense tornado season for a lot of people.

  • Omg! I live in Las Vegas,Nv and nothing ever happens here... My heart goes out... You guys were so brave....
