Multiple Paraglider and Hang Glider Launches in Rio

While on a layover in Rio, I caught a ride with some of the paragliding pilots to the top of Sao Conrado mountain. It's an amazing place to just watch the launches and check out the techniques involved.

Two paraglider pilots were struggling with the winds that day. Made for some entertainment.

Flew a hanglider in my twenties (Hang 4 USHGA), stopped for kid & wife. . viewing these take-offs puts me back in the harness and that moment of transition from supporting the kite to being supported & flying. . . I'll do it again sometime. Thanks Kent these Vids are awesome. I knew you'd hit you-tube stardom ( at least amongst us pilots)
