A rather curious Spitfire. It clearly shows the red squares on the wing leading edge, which showed where the muzzles for four .303-caliber machine guns were. At the same time, it clearly shows the muzzle fairings for two .50-caliber weapons inboard of the cannon barrels.
Any explanation?
