  • LMAO hes camera shy xD!!!

  • @MrJoshuaB18 Just got back from an expo that had these buggers for $40... God I wish I had a tank ...

  • dear Lord baby Jesus

  • beautiful spider you got there. Where did you get her/him?

  • @MrJoshuaB18

you can't really blame them tho...not many of the specialists realized there was a 3rd theraphosa species, so you didn't need to send them the angry email at all. But in regards, T.stirmi is exactly identical to T.blondi in care, temperament. The only difference is that you don't have the characteristic patella. I would been more angry at the supposedly H.mac they sent you, not this one, even my online dealer doesn't recognize them yet.

  • @Jon3800 Will definitely show you the next one, the odd thing is that I brought her from a reptile & arachnid specialist store. I still sent them an angry email today though.

There's been an on-going discussion on Arachnoboards about this...It really wasn't re-described back in June. The real T.blondi has hair on the patella. You're not the only one everyone else and including my pair are the same T.stirmi. I'm not sure if you bought her from the pet store again, but you cannot trust them selling the correct species. Pet stores buy from import companies and they just mark it as priced to sell. Like I may have said before, send me a pic of the next T

  • @Jon3800 Real pissed off about this, second time I've been sold a tarantula that has not been the correct species.....
