Beyond Reality - Amazing Race 15 Recap 10/11/09
Shout out to 1996DancerBabe & Happy belated birthday to quiz36!
Last time on the Race Marcy & Ron were eliminated.
Teams have to fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. There was some drama at the airport but all of the teams ended up on the same flight in the end. When they got to the Foreign Correspondents Club - they had to whisper to the Assignment Editor - "What is my next assignment?" They received a newspaper with a picture of Jackie Onassis which was supposed to lead them to the Hotel Le Royal.
Detour - choose between Cover or Wrap. Cover was selling 4 motorcycle helmets to a family for $10 & Wrap was finding a booth, getting a scarf & finding the lady in the market who is wearing the matching scarf. Everyone chose wrap except for Lance & Keri.
After the Detour was completed they had to travel on foot to Wat Toul Tom Pong for a Road Block. One team member had to put on a money mask & tail & complete 3 monkey maneuvers.
Pit Stop - Wat Phnom - Buddhist Temple.
Zev & Justin arrived in 1st place but Zev didn't have his passport so they had to call their cab driver & try to find where they might have lost it.
1st place - Sam & Dan.
2nd place - Flight Time & Big Easy.
3rd place - Brian & Ericka.
4th place - Gary & Matt.
5th place - Meghan & Cheyne.




6th place - Lance & Keri.
7th place - Mika & Canaan.
8th place - Maria & Tiffany.
Zev & Justin were eliminated from the race because they couldn't find Zev's passport.
Next time - Dubai - extreme height, heat & winter wonderland?

I haven't a clue about why people worry about what flight they are on 9 out of 10 times there is a bottleneck where everyone has to wait and catches up to each other.
